UAE’s Muhammad Waseem is living his dream in ILT20:

UAE’s Muhammad Waseem is undoubtedly a promising prospect in the cricketing world. He recently flaunted his batting skills while representing MI Emirates in the ongoing ILT20.

During his team’s first game against Sharjah Warrior, the exciting batter hit a spectacular knock of 71 runs off just 39 deliveries. His commanding knock put MI Emirates in a strong position as they racked up a whopping total of 204 for 5 in 20 overs.

Taking this into consideration, Muhammad Waseem said that he is living his dream as he always wanted to represent MI Emirates.

“Since this league was announced I always wanted to play for MI Emirates. MI is the biggest franchise in the world. It is a successful franchise. When I got to know that I had got a chance to play for MI Emirates under Kieron Pollard as captain, my happiness doubled,” he said.

Waseem’s gigantic knock helped his side clinch a 49-run victory over the Warriors. The young batter also lavished praise on his franchise’ captain Kieron Pollard.

“Pollard’s captaincy had a big role in helping me perform. The kind of confidence and support he gave me inspired me to perform well,” the young batter said.

Emirates will face Warriors again on Tuesday and the ameliorate Waseem is keen to emulate his performance in that game as well.
