Where will the Next IPL Auction be Held?
The 2023 season, the 16th edition of the cash-rich league, will start in the last week of March. By November 15, 2022, two days after the T20 World Cup 2022 final, franchises are expected to submit their list of retained and released players.
BCCI wants to globalize their brand as they are planning to host Indian Premier League mini auction in Istanbul Turkey. The date of IPL mini-auction scheduled on December,16 2022.
In an interview with an Indian website Source told “There is discussion over hosting the IPL mini-auction in Istanbul, Turkey with Bengaluru as second venue option. The final call is yet to be taken by the governing council.”

Depending on how the discussions on hosting the event in Turkey progress, Bengaluru is still an option to host the event. In February, the city also hosted a mega auction for the 2022 season.
While few franchises reported negotiations about Istanbul, the IPL may host a workshop, and the entire trip may only take three or four days.
