Elite, Premier, and X-factor are the three categories into which the players have been separated. High-profile players who have either already represented their country’s U19 team or made an impression at the domestic level (age-group cricket) run by an ICC Full Member cricket board are included in the Elite category.
Players who have participated in pathway cricket for their boards or regions or who have substantial age-group cricket experience are included in the premier division. Along with promising local talent, the X-factor board includes Associate Member participants.
Over 70 of the foreign players are Associate Members, while 105 come from ICC Full Member boards.
