PCB decides to separate Women’s league from PSL:
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken impressive measures to increase the growth of women cricket in Pakistan. In the recent past, the cricketing world has introduced various leagues to introduce women talent and the ongoing maiden edition of the women U-19 World Cup is yet another imposing step.
Recently, the PCB committee which is being led by Najam Sethi has decided to separate the Women’s League from the men’s PSL. During Ramiz Raja’s regime it was learned that the inaugural edition of the Women League will be played alongside the eighth edition of the PSL.
However, the Sethi-led committee has allocated the window of September this year for the first Women’s Super League, which will be held as a separate event from the PSL.

“ The national cricket governing body plans to keep international women’s organizations associated with the United Nations, including the Malala Foundation, on board for the women’s league so that the positive image of Pakistan can be highlighted through the tournament” , the source stated.
