I Never Considered Playing Cricket for Pakistan: Sikandar Raza Claims
The star All Rounder from Zimbabwe, Sikandar Raza Butt has admitted he never considered playing cricket for Pakistan.
When speaking to Cricket Pakistan, the player from Sialkot mentioned that he had not traveled to Zimbabwe to play cricket. “How can it be that I am playing against them yet I never had this notion when I lived in Pakistan? I have previously stated that I never left Pakistan to pursue a career in cricket; instead, Sikandar remarked, “My goal was to become a fighter pilot, but I was unable to do so.”
“My family and I went to Zimbabwe while I was studying software engineering. I had planned to pursue a master’s degree, but eventually, I got the chance to play domestic cricket for Zimbabwe, and that’s when the trip began,” he continued.
Raza added that he regularly communicates with Shoaib Malik in particular and that he is constantly in touch with Pakistani cricketers. The Pakistani players who were friends from the beginning are still close.
When questioned about Pakistani wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan and captain Babar Azam, the right-hander praised both players and said that they are both enjoyable to watch.
Nobody could possibly love Babar Azam, in my opinion. In addition to Babar, I also adore Rizi [Rizwan] Bhai because he plays beautifully.
