Rilee Rossouw becomes the second player to score consecutive hundreds in men’s T20Is:

South Africa met Bangladesh today in their second World T20 Super 12 fixture. After winning the toss, South Africa decided to bowl first.

Temba Bavuma and De Kock started South Africa’s innings, with Taskin Ahmed dismissing Bavuma in the first over.

But after that, Bangladesh was unable to get a wicket because of a strong 163-run stand between Rilee Rossouw and De Kock. They were both smashing Bangladesh bowlers all over the place. Afif Hossain’s wicket of De Kock marked the second wicket loss for South Africa, which came after 170 runs. Tristan Stubbs was soon dismissed after De Kock.

Rille Rossouw’s blistering knock came to an end, but he accomplished his goal by scoring a century against Bangladesh. His wicket fell to Shakib ul Hasan. Hasan Ahmed’s final over saw Aiden Markram’s final wicket.

Bangladesh needed 206 runs in order to defeat South Africa. Rille Rossouw scored an impressive 109 runs on 56 balls while hitting seven fours and eight sixes. Today, he was blazing a trail for Bangladesh.

Soumya Sarkar was dismissed by Anrich Nortje quickly in the chase. Nortje dismissed both of the openers in the same over by bowling Najmul Hossain as well. Another important wicket fell to Nortje soon and this time it was Shakib-Al-Hasan.

Afif Hossain was gone after just adding one run to Bangladesh’s score because he failed to play with a little more pace and the extra bounce of the Rabada. They were in trouble. Bangladesh bats began to make their way to the pavilion one by one. They were unsuccessful in playing South African bowlers.

Bangladesh never got into a stable position in the chase after the first two overs. They were all out for 101 runs, and South Africa earned the tournament’s first victory.

Anrich Nortje was South Africa’s highest wicket-taker with 4 wickets in 3.4 overs, while Tabraiz Shamsi also had a significant impact on the game today. Player of the Match honours were given to Rille Rossouw for his fascinating hundred. South Africa not only earned a victory but got a big net run rate boost too.
