‘I know there are ups and downs, but if I get over this stage, I know how consistent I can be’: Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is set to be back in Indian colours for the forthcoming Asia Cup 2022 and there has been a great deal of criticism from the fans and experts over his form in int’l cricket. The 33-year-old failed to score a single 50 in the England tour across formats and was not part of the West Indies and Zimbabwe tours.

However, he will be straight in action against Pakistan on August 28 in the Group A schedule of the Asia Cup 2022 and it will be fascinating to see whether he can find his lost form. The right-hander batter scored his last int’l hundred in November 2019. Meanwhile, as of late helped the critics to remember his capacity to overcome tough situations through an indirect message.

Can’t run this far in your int’l career without being able to counter situations: Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli said he knows about his ongoing game and felt that he has not achieved so much in his int’l career without being able to conquer the troublesome phases. The former Indian skipper added that the stage has given him a great deal of experience to esteem himself personally.

“I know where my game stands and you can’t run this far in your in your int’l career without being able to counter situations and counter conditions and counter various types of bowling,” Kohli’s directive for the fans as quoted by Hindustan Times.

“So, this for me is a more straightforward stage to process, however I would rather not put this stage behind me. I want to learn from it and I need to comprehend what are the core values that I have as a sportsperson and as a person. However long I’m marking those crates, I realize there are highs and lows, and when I emerge from this stage, I know how reliable I can be. My experiences are consecrated to me. Anything that I have experienced in this stage or before, too one thing that I can vouch for, is that I have never esteemed myself more personally,” he added.
