Women’s Asia Cup 2022: Pakistan Women goes on top of Points Table
Pakistan women have registered their second successive victory in the Women’s Asia Cup 2022. Bismah Maroof’s side barbarously disposed of defending champion Bangladesh women by 9 wickets. Tasked to chase 71 for a win, Pakistan batters got the target in the thirteenth over. Prior to that, the hosts could only manage 70/8 in 20 overs. Pakistan women have now gone to the top of the points table, while Bangladesh women have dropped to No. 3.
Both Pakistan and Bangladesh registered victories in their first matches. Pakistan won by 9 wickets against Malaysia and Bangladesh crushed Thailand by 9 wickets.
