Styris Receives Backlash after calling MSD Big Dog:
No one can actually underestimate the power of social media these days as it can take you to the height of the sky in no time, while on the other hand, it can break you in seconds. Something like this has happened with the Former New Zealand All-Rounder Scott Styris.
As the sixteenth edition of IPL 2023 is about to kick off on March 31, fans are eager to see the Indian Legend MS Dhoni in action for the Chennai Super Kings.
The wicketkeeper-batter is currently training at the Chepauk stadium in Chennai. The franchise shared a video recently of MS dhoni where he is entering the stadium for a practice match and the fans going crazy around chanting ‘Dhoni, Dhoni’.
The video has been on fire across social media. Scott Styris shared the video on his Twitter and appreciated the legendary player saying ”Still the big dog around town!!”. Moreover, he added two clapping emojis, admiring MS Dhoni.

All of this seemed to be the verge of an abyss for the fans as they started taunting Scott Styris throughout social media for calling MS Dhoni a big dog as they assumed that the Former New Zealand player referred to Dhoni as Dog.
Scott Styris used the term to describe the power of MS Dhoni. Several CSK fans tried to explain the real meaning of the phrase and how that stands apt in the case of Dhoni. CSK fans came out in Scott Styris’ defense and explained that the term big dog doesn’t actually mean a dog in the literal sense.
