Shoaib Akhtar drops a shocking update on his biopic ‘Rawalpindi Express’:
Pakistan’s former speedster Shoaib Akhtar has distanced himself from his “dream project”. His biopic “Rawalpindi Express” was expected to release in November this year but now the filmmakers and Shoaib Akhtar have parted their ways.
Akhtar took to Twitter and shared this unfortunate news. The man dubbed “Rawalpindi Express” said that he has terminated the contract with the filmmakers and thereby ending his “dream project”.
Akhtar further said that he tried to make things work out but unfortunately nothing could be resolved thus resulting in him withdrawing from it.
The former pacer also mentioned that he will retaliate if they continue to make his biopic.

“Very sadly, I would like to inform all of you that after careful consideration of months, I have decided to disassociate myself from the film ‘Rawalpindi Express’ and its makers by terminating the agreement through my management and legal team.”
“Severe legal action will be taken if the makers continue to make biography film[s] and use my name or life story events in any way,” he mentioned.
Earlier this month Pakistan’s renowned actor and singer Umair Jaswal, who was supposed to play the lead role in Akhtar’s biopic, also stepped away from the project.
