Gillespie’s 12-Member Squad for Second Test: Who Made the Cut?

The Pakistan men’s cricket team, under the leadership of head coach Jason Gillespie, has announced a 12-member squad for the second Test match against Bangladesh. The squad was revealed during a pre-match press conference held today at a prominent hotel in Islamabad.

The playing XI for the upcoming Test, which is set to commence tomorrow at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, will be disclosed at the time of the toss. Bangladesh, having secured a decisive 1-0 lead in the two-match series, will enter the game with confidence after their commanding 10-wicket victory over Pakistan at the same venue last Sunday.

The toss is scheduled for 09:30 AM, with the first ball expected to be bowled at 10:00 AM sharp.

Pakistan’s 12-member squad for the second Test against Bangladesh:

  • Shan Masood (captain)
  • Saud Shakeel (vice-captain)
  • Abrar Ahmed
  • Abdullah Shafique
  • Babar Azam
  • Khurram Shahzad
  • Mir Hamza
  • Mohammad Ali
  • Mohammad Rizwan (wicket-keeper)
  • Naseem Shah
  • Saim Ayub
  • Salman Ali Agha

As anticipation builds, cricket fans across the nation are eager to see how the home team will respond to the challenge posed by Bangladesh, aiming to level the series in this crucial match at Rawalpindi.
