England Become Dual Champions as Pakistan’s Batting Disappoints:

The ICC T20 world cup 2022 was competitive this year but in the knockout stage we witnessed one-sided encounters. Two teams England and Pakistan were ready to face each other in the final at MCG. England won the toss and decided to field first against Pakistan.

Pakistani openers failed to hit boundaries in the first three overs. Sam Curran was doing exceptional in this world cup and he continued his brilliant run in the final. He dismissed Rizwan. The power play of Pakistan was not up to the mark. Haris was struggling to hit the ball and got out to Adil Rashid.

Shan came in to bat with Babar Azam. At this point, fans were hoping that Pakistan can get a decent total but Babar Azam again failed to read the googly of Adil Rasid and walked off. It was a wicket maiden over by Rashid.

He completely shifted the momentum towards his team. In the next over Stokes successfully dismissed Iftikhar. Pakistan were in trouble as their score was 85/4.

Shadab Khan and Shan made 36 off 25 balls but Sam Curran’s return was not a piece of good news for Pakistan as he dismissed Shan Masood. Shadab Khan was caught at mid-off and Jordan made things easier for England. Pakistan managed to post only 137 runs in the all important final at the MCG.

Sam Curran bowled another magnificent spell as he got 3 wickets with 15 dot balls in the final. England were brilliant in the second half of the innings with the help of Rashid and Curran. Both were very impressive with the ball today.

Shaheen Shah Afridi continued his habit to get a wicket in his first over. He dismissed Alex Hales, and the crowd at MCG erupted. Babar Azam brought Haris Rauf in the attack. It was a smart move. He dismissed Phil salt as he was playing with intent but struggled for timing.

Buttler was in supreme touch until Rauf arrived. Haris Rauf got the huge wicket of Jos Buttler.

Harry brook and Ben Stokes were rebuilding the innings for England. Shadab khan and Naseem shah were doing great and trying to put pressure on England with dot balls. Shadab Khan dismissed Harry Brook as Shaheen took a stunning Catch but he hurt his knee.

Shaheen Came to bowl but he struggled with his knee and left the field. Iftikhar Completed Shaheen’s over and that was the turning point of the game.

Ben Stokes had targeted Iftikhar then Moeen Ali smashed Wasim Jr. England snatched the game and Worldcup trophy from Pakistan.

England won by five wickets. They won the T20 World Cup 2022. They were phenomenal in the knockout stage of the event. They Completely outclassed the opposition in both the Semi Final and the final. Pakistan again failed to finish as winners. In the Last World Cup, they lost the semi-final and in this world cup, they lost the final.

England Players and the Fans were celebrating this Spectacular win and the Pakistan team was disappointed with the end of their journey. Ben Stokes again held his nerves and played another champion knock for England.
