A Surprise Signing for the upcoming season of ILT20: Shaheen Shah Afridi has achieved impressive results in his T20 career so far. He has been an invaluable asset to the Pakistan national team as well as T20 teams around the world. With his speed, swing, and accuracy, Shaheen kept bothering the batsmen and taking the crucial wickets. He showed great potential and the ability to perform well under pressure. Shaheen’s T20 career is still young, but he has already made a major impact and is considered one of the tournament’s rising stars.
ILT20 is the biggest professional league in the United Arab Emirates and is organized by the Emirates cricket board. ILT20 is starting its new season and Afridi signed three seasons with them. Surely it will be a busy upcoming schedule for Shaheen. He signed for “Desert Vipers”, which is owned by LLC (Lancer Capital), the head coach in the first season was James Foster.

In the inaugural season of ILT20, Azam Khan was the only player from Pakistan included in the Desert Vipers squad but PCB management did not grant him NOC. Now Zaka Ashraf is the current chairman and he wants players to participate in different cricket franchises.

Now let us see who will be included in the 2023 squad alongside Afridi.
