They’re considering keeping the tournament in Pallekele or shifting it to Dambulla due to the heavy rain in Colombo. The final decision is expected to be made within the next two days. The Asian Cricket Council is considering Dambulla or Hambantota as backup venues. They’re just being prepared in case the weather doesn’t cooperate.

In the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 matches, five games will be held in Colombo, while one match is scheduled in Lahore. The final match will also take place in Colombo.
